You may optionally provide the year of manufacture, but it is not required. It helps us detect potential errors. Vehicles manufactured before 1995, for example, most likely do not have an EC type approval and cannot receive a COC document.

If you are a business customer or company, please also enter your VAT identification number. This is not required for companies based in Germany or for private individuals.

If it turns out that issuing a COC for your VIN is not possible — for example, because the vehicle is too old or was not built for the European market — we will cancel your order immediately and issue a full refund.

As soon as the document has been created by the vehicle manufacturer, you will receive an email with the PDF of your COC. In many cases, this copy is sufficient to register your vehicle or perform a technical inspection. The original document will then be sent to you by postal mail or express delivery.
